Completed documents are digitally sealed using PKI — any later alteration is detectable — with trusted timestamps issued by a third-party timestamp authority. Every envelope carries a Certificate of Completion recording who signed, when, and the IP address of the device used to sign, plus a SHA-256 hash of the signed content. The audit trail is part of the record, not an upsell.
